Taryn is one of the fantastic clinicians in our Leaps & Bounds East Maitland team, and she loves working with such a passionate group of Speechies! She has previously worked in a mobile practise servicing the Hunter.
Taryn is excited by all scopes of Speech Pathology practice. She loves working with children across a range of settings, including homes, preschools, day-care centres and schools. She is well-equipped in providing assessment and treatment for a range of skills, including speech, language, literacy, fluency, pragmatic (social) communication and Alternative and Augmentative Communication systems.
Taryn is enthusiastic about continuing her professional development in all areas of Speech Pathology. She has recently participated in training for Colourful Semantics and is PROMPT trained. She is a Hanen-Certified Speech Pathologist (“It Takes Two to Talk”) and is loving working with young children and their families. Taryn is eager to expand her knowledge and diversify her skills to provide the best treatment and care for her clients.
Taryn is so excited to be a part of such a friendly and caring team. She strives to provide intervention in a thoughtful and fun way and appreciates building rapport with clients and their families to promote optimal success. She loves her job and makes every effort to be the best clinician she can be!
Taryn loves music! She has learnt to play multiple instruments, including the clarinet and saxophone. She is learning to play the guitar and hopes to learn the banjo one day too!
